đŸŒșAs we move into the New Year, I feel called to remind us to reach out to those we love — our whānau, friends, and the ones who may be holding things quietly.

While Christmas can be difficult, New Year can feel even heavier for many.

There’s often an expectation that once the year turns over, we should feel hopeful, excited, and ready for a fresh start.

For some, that pressure can deepen feelings of loneliness, grief, and overwhelm.

If someone comes to mind, please reach out.

A simple message, a call, or letting them know they matter can mean more than you realise.

And if this time feels isolating or heavy for you, please know you’re not alone.

Be gentle with yourself. There is no right way to begin a new year. Take things one moment at a time, and reach out to me or a trusted friend for support if you need it.

Holding you all with care and compassion
