I get to live in the most magical little pocket of paradise here in Ōtaki.
A garden filled with flowers, harakeke(flax) fairy lights and beauty in every corner.
I love stepping outside during my work breaks, sitting amongst the garden and weaving harakeke with my hands.
There’s something so deeply grounding in it , slowing down, connecting with nature, and listening to the birds.
Today, after weaving this little harakeke flower, I found the most beautiful rhododendron bloom and tucked it into what I had created. 🌺
A little moment of unexpected magic.
So much gratitude.
So much beauty.
So much aroha.
