I came to my work in 1998, when I had my first baby. I had post-natal depression and was awake and distressed a lot during the first few months of motherhood.

During this time, one day in the early hours of the morning I felt the presence of my grandmother on my right shoulder who had passed away 10 years previous. She whispered to me that she was with me loving and supporting me through my journey.

I would often talk with her and feel her loving support thereafter.

Becoming a Medium
As time passed, I began to research about becoming a medium as I felt I had so many questions that needed answering that weren’t able to be answered elsewhere.

This journey of curiosity lead me to undergo formal training in the USA with Doreen Virtue, completing my mediumship training under her guidance.

My healing work has taken me to many places, including India, Indonesia, California and now where I currently reside as my home in N.Z.

Creative Expression
In 2008 I took a year to complete the first year of my visual arts degree.

As part of my body of work, I channeled through the works of a contemporary Maori cloak with the help of my Tipuna (ancestors). This was a powerful and empowering part of my work as a medium, giving me direct access to my whakapapa (culture, experiences and wisdom), providing the basis of a creative platform for my Mandala artwork.

Shamanic Training
In the recent years of 2014 – 2016 I have completed 2.5 years of vigorous shamanic healing training with Chalice Malcolm of Lasavia.com

This has expanded my knowledge and awareness through tuning into the energy of a person or place,  and using my skills to assist them in the healing process through anything from soul retrieval, land healing, house clearings, and past life regressions.
